Water festival in Hoverberg
Healing Art, Music and Yoga
9-10 August 2025

Come join us in a celebration of love, peace, and harmony, where we place gratitude for water at the center. Be part of experiencing and creating the most beautiful harmony between our inner water and our hearts. Let’s share joy and gratitude with the water!

The Water Festival centers love for water, both the water within ourselves and water in all its forms on Mother Earth.
You are warmly welcome to join us in manifesting love, peace, and harmony through healing art, music, and yoga on August 9–10 at Lyckans Gård in Hoverberg, Jämtland.

During the festival, various workshops will be held in Svalbo—our large yoga and meditation studio at Lyckans Gård as well as in the Sacred Fire Sauna and the tipi down by the shore of Lake Storsjön.
We hope that, as a participant, you will honor the water with your own personal ceremonies throughout the festival.

There will be workshops for adults. Children and teenagers are welcome to participate if they wish, but they remain under their guardian’s responsibility. This year, we do not have specific workshops targeted at children and teenagers. We hope to be able to offer those in 2026.

The Water Festival is alcohol- and drug-free. Our aim is for the festival to leave a loving and positive impact, while keeping its environmental footprint as small as possible.
Please bring your own cup/mug, plate, spork/cutlery, water bottle, and towel. If you have a drum and a yoga mat, feel free to bring those along too!

A very, very warm welcome!

Holy Tree Concert (2 hours) with Malin Wik and Filip Fišer

Drum Ritual (1 hour 45 minutes–2 hours) with Filip Fišer

A shared drumming experience with the presence of the Great Drum. Together, we deepen our innate connection to rhythm, sound, and music, a sonic journey for the whole body! Filip Fišer leads us through this powerful and deeply vibrating experience.

Serious Play with Joshua Roxendal

During the Water Festival, Joshua Roxendal creates a living playground for both children and adults, a space where body and mind are challenged through movement, balance (including slacklining), breath awareness, and presence in the moment.

Breath – the Bridge that Connects Life and Consciousness with Joshua Roxendal

Every day, Joshua leads a guided breathwork session called “Breath in the Fresh Air”. An opportunity to reclaim strength, harmony, and vitality through the breath. You’re welcome to ground yourself, reconnect with nature, and awaken your inner power.

Sauna Journey into the Power of Water (40 minutes) with Anna Stillwel

Experience the strength within you through the calm and eternal transformation of water. Let a moment of stillness open the door to self-awareness and inner strength. Together, we embark on a journey where the mind and senses are awakened by fragrant essential oils and the warmth of the earth’s resources.

The Flow of Our Inner Water with Åshild Haaheim

Welcome to a joyful Kundalini Yoga session where you get to dance, move, embrace yourself, and relax. Åshild will guide you through this journey, helping us let our inner water flow freely.

Let the Heart Lead the Way with Åshild Haaheim

Morning yoga where your beautiful body is nurtured with love by opening your chakras, followed by a heart-opening Kundalini Yoga practice and mantra meditation. Åshild and the drum will lovingly guide your inner water with softness and energy.

Singing Water – A Workshop with Anette Tamm (1.5 hours)

What happens when we truly listen to the water? When we meet it as a living force rather than a resource to consume? When we honor the sacred water—both within and around us—with presence and respect?

Based on her book Singing Water, Speaking Trees, and Sacred Mountains, Anette invites you to explore the wisdom of water through water spirits, folklore, ceremony, and intuitive writing.

A Water-Inspired Meditation with Ida Lidén Ramstedt

Let the water carry you home to yourself. Let it wash away all that is not you, and become one with the crystal-clear pure waves within you.

Herbal Tea Ceremony with consecrated healing water with Maria Iréne Fia 1.5 hours

Let the magic of herbs and the healing wisdom of water guide you home to your innermost core. In the ceremony, you will experience deep presence, contact with the elements of nature and healing reminders from consecrated water and Nordic medicinal plants.

Ceremony dedicated to water and Yemanja, the goddess of the sea, rivers and lakes with Anna Strandin

During the ceremony, Yemanja is invoked through mantra chanting and meditation, and you also participate in a ritual by the water to show her respect. There, you also attract the water spirit to you in a small ritual that comes from the Tupi-Guarani people that Anna received through her work with Kaká Werá Jecupé during her years in Brazil.

Sweat Ceremonies & Stories with Tim Jago

At Vattenfestival I will lead sweat ceremonies and tell some stories. The ceremonies will be based on traditional ceremonies for healing and connection. We will create a sacred space in the sauna and travel into the darkness. A voyage of self discovery and insight leading to a gentle rebirth back into the world.
Stories can be told for entertainment, but also as a guide for insight and self reflection. In deep relaxation you join the story, it becomes your story and you dive into an experience that can be healing and awaken aspects of you that have been asleep for far too long.
